The Police Station in Wilshire contains many departments that make keeping the city as safe as possible much more manageable. In order to become an officer at the Wilshire Police Station you will have to first attend a police academy and pass the courses.

 

The police academy will teach the essential skills an officer needs to know in order to do his or her job correctly. The officers will leave the academy knowing which crimes are considered felonies or misdemeanors and the amount of jail time that comes with each one. The police Station also serves as a place where any citizen can go to in order to pay a ticket or to file a complaint about a person that they believe is committing a crime.

 

The police welcome anybody to visit the police Station to inquire about any sort of situation or to learn more about what the police are doing in the community as far as community service programs that you could be a part of. They don’t want anyone to be scared of visiting the police Station to talk to any police officer about the welfare of the city and to even suggest something that the police could be doing better.

 

However, if you do get arrested in the city of Wilshire, then you will be taken to the Wilshire police Station, where you will be booked and held until you are either transferred or bailed out.  When anyone is arrested by the Wilshire Police Station, their case will most like be sent to the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center.
